Despite how much the USA and UK have in common, there are enough differences between their two versions of the English language that someone may not always understand exactly what someone from the other country is saying.

儘管美國和英國有很多共同點，這兩個版本的英文還是有差異，雙方可能無法一直準確地了解對方國家的人說話的意思。

* 1) 英式英文很多字彙比美式英文多一個U字母‧所以笑話中，因為美國女孩不給英國哥追‧ 所以才說 "我想要擺脫你阿"! 

   2)同樣意思的字彙，因為拼法不同，美式拼法少了一個字母u

   3) you 聽起來跟 u 的音一樣

 (1) American and British spelling are different (2) American spelling removes the 'u' (3) that the reader can equate u = you
