Travel English 旅遊英文 4: 飯店Hotel

下了飛機，當然就是要狂奔睡覺的地方，丟下行李.. 到處亂晃去.
但若櫃台剛好是你愛的菜，想搭訕卻… 哭哭
別擔心，飛機上先惡補一下小抄:
字彙:
- Front desk/ reception: 櫃台
- Check-in: 入住
- Check-out: 退房
- Do not disturb tag: 請勿打擾牌子
- Suite: 套房
- Adjoining rooms: 有內門可互通的房間
- Hostel (美國人暱稱No frills): 青年旅館
(Frill 是褶邊的意思，就已經最便宜了，所以別想要 room services)
- Motel: 汽車旅館
- B&B (Bed & Breakfast): 提供早餐的民宿You feel more like staying at home J
- Complimentary breakfast= free breakfast 免費的早餐
- Continental breakfast: 歐式早餐 (吐司+果醬+奶油+咖啡)
- Reservation: 預約
- Singe room: 單人房
- Double room: 雙人房(一張床)
- Twin room：雙人房(兩張單人床)
- Family room: 家庭房
但若口袋很深，住5顆星星的飯店，以下字彙學起來比較雅痞樣:
- Doorman:門童At the high-scale hotel, he/she will open/close the door for you.
- Porter: 代客泊車He/She will probably be standing outside in front of the hotel. When you pull up your car, he will come and take your bags to the front desk. When you get in to the hotel, this person will then drive your car to the parking lot.
- Housekeeping: 管家 they clean your room.
- Bellhop: 侍者This person who will take your luggage from reception to your room (總之就是幫你提放行李到房間的 “小工具人” )
- Concierge: 禮賓員a person who work in the hotel. Its the person you go to when you need to arrange outings. (= customer services)
小劇場 1:
A: Hi, I’d like to check in. Hi 我想要入住
B: Do you have a reservation? 您有預約嗎?
A: Yes, it’s under Alice. 有，登記在Alice名下
B: Ok. How long will you be staying? 好的，請問您會住多久時間?
A: 2 nights 2晚
B: Can I have your credit card and passport, please? 請您提供信用卡和護照?
A: Here you go. 拿去吧
B: Do you want a smoking room or non-smoking room? 你需要吸菸還是禁菸房?
A: non-smoking 禁菸房
B: ok. Here is your key. Room 701 好的，這是您的房間鑰匙. 701號房間

A: Hi, I’d like to check in. Hi 我想要入住
B: Do you have a reservation? 您有預約嗎?
A: No. 沒有
B: Let me check… Sorry. I afraid we have no vacancies. Please go to other hotels. 讓我確認一下(一陣批拉啪啦…) 對不起. 很抱歉，我們已經沒有空房‧請您到其他飯店

(OS劇場:飯店請務必先預訂好，千萬別賭運氣‧我的朋友就有曾倒楣到找不到飯店的經驗，結果只能睡24HR的麥**. 感謝金色的拱門 I’m loving it !)

A: Hi, I’d like to check out, please. 我想要退房
B: Here is your bill. Should I put on your credit card? 這是您的帳單，請問直接用信用卡付款嗎?
A: Yes. 是的
Services服務:
-Can I get a wake up call for Friday at 8 am, please? 請早上8點叫我起床可以嗎?
-Can I get extra towels, please? 請問可以給我額外的毛巾嗎?
-Can I get a cot? 請問可以加床嗎? ( 恩…別想太多，就是它)
-Can I reserve a seat on the airport shuttle? 請問我可以預訂機場接送巴士嗎?
(小工具人我現在因為窮窮地，只好自己在背包客自己服務自己 )
OS劇場：
飯店房間內的迷你小酒吧mini bar和冰箱周邊一定會放置價目表，吃之前請看清楚想明白阿! 同樣商品價格可能是小7價格的2倍起跳…
另外，若是去美國旅行，從接駁車開始就必須開始撒鈔票了…小費Tip大多1美金起跳；代客泊車的部分，雖然停車時不用給，但取到車後，則須給2~5美金不等的小費‧若不想被整，每日早晨離開房間前，請將約為1床2~5美金不等的小費放置枕頭或床櫃上，感謝房務清潔人大大們不殺之恩.
總歸一句:有錢真好
